The Disproportionality Technical Assistance Network (The Network) is offering a unique opportunity for all participating school staff, equity teams and partners for continuing our personal and provessional racial equity work with a focus on the American Indian student experienc. Join us in a Study Circles conversation and the exploration of the book, Everything You Wanted to Know about Indians But Were Afraid to Ask by Anton Treuer. Each session will use Dr. treuer's book as a foundation for our conversation while exploring the impact of the opportunity gap for our American Indian students.

Study Circles address racial and ethnic barriers to student achievement and parent involvement by engaging diverse staff, parents and parnters in dialogue and problem solving.

All participants will be provided with Dr. Anton Treuer's book at no cost.

January 20, 2015 (pages 1-67)

February 10, 2015 (pages 68-127)

March 9, 2015 (pages 128-164)

These networking meetings specifically address WI State Performance Plan (SPP) Indicators 4B, 9 & 10

Maximum number of attendees is 25 participants
