The Fall Gathering is a follow-up from the “Tribal Gathering Strategic Planning Meeting” held last May. Let’s gather together, listen AND learn. With the dynamic and engaging leadership of Jodi Pfarr, we’ll talk about What do our communities look like now? What do we want them to look like in the future? How can we make changes?
“Improving Services for Native American Infants, Toddlers, and Young Children and Their Families”
In May, individuals came together to take a fresh look at ways to support the planning and training and technical assistance that reflects the difference way tribal programs operate. The goals of this forum were to:
- Identify potential gaps and areas for improvement that reflect the differences in the way Tribal programs operate;
- Improve coordination, access and utilization of state professional development opportunities;
- Identify key contacts and build networks to improve tribal and state services for young children and families.
This Gathering is brought to you through a collaboration of funds from:
The Disproportionality Technical Assistance Network ("The Network"), Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge Grant: Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council (GLITC) Tribal Nation Project, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Who Should Attend?
Professionals in each tribal community who provide services to their community’s children and families. We hope you will bring many members of your community. This will allow for more vibrant discussion about how we can make changes in your communities.
