Welcome to the UW System Institute for Urban Education annual Professional Development Conference (IUE-PDC). The UW System IUE program is designed to help preservice teachers follow their desire to become urban educators as well as provide professional development opportunities for currently practicing teachers. We are dedicated to helping urban schools continue to grow the promise of urban youth and to assisting urban teachers as they develop both as teachers and learners.

The UW System Institute for Urban Education (IUE) is pleased to announce this request for proposals (RFP) for our second annual IUE Professional Development Conference (IUE-PDC). The second annual conference highlights culturally responsive pedagogy as a necessary practice for cooperating teachers and other educators working with children who are culturally, linguistically and economically diverse.
