About the Seminar
This training will address the social science around “Implicit Bias” and provide examples of how implicit biases can affect our day-to-day operations in society, as well as result in disparate negative treatment towards people of color, even when seemingly “race-neutral” policies are applied. This presentation will also address the impact implicit racial bias can play in the school-to-prison pipeline and our criminal legal system, and efforts individuals can take to counteract bias in their everyday lives. This program has been approved for one hour of Elimination of Bias MCLE credit by the State Bar of California.
